Chicken & Potato with Vinegar & Soy Sauce

Ingredients (Serves 5)

Chicken Wings 15 pieces

Potato 3 (peeled and cut into 8 pieces)

Long Onion 'Naganegi' 2sticks (cut 2inches long)

Vinegar 1/4 cup

Soy Sauce 1/3 cup

Sugar 1/4 cup

Mirin 1/4 cup

Garlic 3cloves (smashed)

Ginger 15g (sliced)

Water 1/4 cup

Vegetable Oil 2tbsps

1. Put the chicken wings into a large bowl and add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, mirin, garlic and ginger. Marinate the chicken at least for 3 hours.

2. Heat the oil in a pan and saute the chicken until nice golden color.

3. Add the potato and long onion. Cook for 5 min.

4. Add the left over marinade liquid from 1. and water. Simmer for 20 min.
